The Tormek T-4 is a high-quality wet grinding machine for demanding woodturners and DIY enthusiasts. Thanks to the numerous grinding devices, the T-4 is suitable for all types of blades and tools - such as turning tools, chisels, gouges, knives, smaller cutting and carving tools or drills.
The Tormek T4 achieves a high degree of precision and stability thanks to its sophisticated design. In addition to important components such as the motor and main shaft, the mounting sleeves for the universal support are also installed in the sturdy cast zinc upper section. This design guarantees a high degree of precision for all sanding devices and accessories.The included whetstone from Tormek is specially designed for the wet grinder, ensuring effective and gentle material removal. The stone also boasts a long service life. Not only can the surface of the stone be dressed using the stone conditioner included in the scope of delivery, but there is also a choice of grinds - the standard p220 grit and a fine p1000 grit.
The operating time of the Tormek T4: The motor is designed to run for 30 minutes at a time, which is perfectly adequate for private and home use. The Tormek T-8, for example, is designed for continuous operation.
