Shipping and terms of payment

1. The price offered is binding, this price includes the statutory VAT of currently 19% or 7% for book products. However, we reserve the right to make adjustments due to increases in VAT.

2. Shipping by forwarding agent is always based on the applicable terms and conditions of the transporting forwarding agent. These may be, for example, the German Freight Forwarders' Standard Terms and Conditions (ADSp).

3. For shipping purchases within the Federal Republic of Germany, the price does not include a flat-rate shipping fee of EUR 6.95 up to a gross purchase value of EUR 150.00 and a weight of up to 30 kg. With a gross purchase value of more than 150.00 EUR, we ship free of charge within the Federal Republic of Germany. Excluded from the above regulation is the dispatch of lathes and machines. The shipping costs incurred for this are calculated using a price scale, which you will find in point 5. You can also place the machines in the shopping basket and have the shipping costs displayed there.

6. The customer can pay the price in cash, by bank transfer or via PayPal. We reserve the right to exclude individual payment methods. All costs incurred due to payment by cheque, bank transfer and cash on delivery shall be borne by the customer. Existing customers with a billing address in Germany who have already completed and paid for an order are offered the additional payment option "purchase on account" starting with their second order.

7. The customer undertakes to make payments within 7 days of receipt of the goods if the payment method is invoice. Thereafter, the customer shall be in default of payment without further notice. 

8. If the right of cancellation is exercised in accordance with § 4 of the GTC, the customer shall bear the direct costs of the return shipment.

9. The customer may only exercise his right of retention if his counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.

10. For the dispatch of woodturning machines and band saws in Germany, the shipping costs indicated in the article will be charged. The dispatch by forwarding agent takes place on Tuesday and Thursday. If there is a repeat (second/third) delivery, the additional costs will be invoiced to you retrospectively. In addition to the simple forwarding service, you also have the option of a forwarding service including telephone notification for Germany, which involves additional costs of EUR 10. 

11. elivery to Switzerland: For deliveries to Switzerland, we recommend that you use the MeinEinkauf.ch service. All information can be found at www.MeinEinkauf.ch. All customs formalities and delivery to your front door will be taken care of by MeinEinkauf.ch for a small fee. You will receive your goods quickly, duty paid and at a favourable price.

12.  In the case of self-collection, the loading is logged and recorded both in writing and visually. A signed record of the handover of goods will be made available to the customer in the form of a copy on request. It is the responsibility of the person collecting the goods to ensure that the load is secured in accordance with the law and is not the responsibility of Drechselbedarf Schulte GmbH & Co KG.
