Features
Modern motor and electronic vario control
The 750 watt motor, developed using the latest technologies, offers the kind of high torque that can otherwise only be found on lathes twice the size. The spindle speed can be regulated directly using the easily accessible controller.
Rotating and swiveling headstock
In contrast to other casting benches, the headstock of the Herald can be rotated 360º. This optimizes accessibility and makes the bench ideal for left-handed users, as the Herald can run completely left-handed with the direction of rotation changed. In addition, a bearing system under the headstock allows it to be set in the most popular and common positions for woodturners. The headstock can also be moved above the bed if required.
Cam Lock quick adjustment
The tool holder can be instantly locked in position using the locking system. In addition, the lockable hand rest can reduce vibrations that occur during work to a minimum. This makes work smoother and more fluid.
3-stage spindle adjustment
To achieve maximum versatility, the Herald offers a 3-stage spindle setting. For most woodturning jobs, the medium setting is perfect and offers plenty of torque. However, if maximum torque is required, comparable to much larger lathes, for rough cuts or low speed work, the lower setting has immense torque capabilities.

Innovative tailstock design
