This compact cast iron bed extension can be mounted on the MIDI PRO machine on the left and right of the lathe bed, as well as on the front of the front opening.
When mounted on the front opening of the bench bed, the stability of the machine increases enormously and the lower part of the hand rest can be easily moved onto the additional bed to guarantee ergonomic working with the headstock swiveled.
Decoupled external end turning device
Two additional beds can be screwed together at the front to create a decoupled substructure for the lower part of the hand rest. This makes it possible to process panes with larger diameters, for example (see illustration).
