The three-way machine vice for pillar drills, column drills and routers is a real quality tool. Its individual elements are made entirely of steel and impress with their durability, longevity and precision, which is essential when clamping sensitive workpieces precisely.
The fixed jaw in prism jaw design guarantees the clamping of square and round workpieces. The integrated prisms are primarily used to clamp round workpieces both horizontally and vertically in the vice. Thanks to the additional positioning surfaces on the side and front of the vice, it can be set up and tilted. This enables very flexible working when drilling holes. If the vice is tilted, pen blanks can be clamped and pre-drilled using a pillar drill.
The solid construction allows workpieces of up to 100 mm in width or diameter to be clamped. The movable jaw is guided precisely using the double guide bed. Tight clamping is no problem thanks to the handle and the built-in trapezoidal thread. Thanks to its coarse threads, the trapezoidal thread has sufficient mass to withstand the load during clamping without wearing out. It is optimally protected against damage and dirt.
The handle screw is knurled for comfortable operation with maximum grip strength and measures 102 mm in length and 25 mm in diameter. The hole spacing between the slotted holes on both sides is 125 mm (center-to-center).
The underside with its large sliding surfaces is precisely aligned and easy to guide. The holes allow the vice to be screwed to work tables that have the appropriate fastening options.
