We offer the renowned Röhm key-operated drill chucks as well as a practical quick-action chuck that can be operated without a key. All chucks can be purchased individually or as a set, with MK2 cone or M33 spindle adapter. This allows you to use the drill chucks directly on the lathe without any problems.
Röhm drill chucks
The popular Röhm drill chucks are available in sizes M and L. They have a clamping range of 1.5 - 13 mm with a maximum concentricity deviation of 0.35 mm (Prima L drill chuck) or a clamping range of 3-16 mm with a maximum concentricity deviation of 0.3 mm (Prima M). Both chucks are impact drill resistant and equally suitable for forward and reverse operation. Both chucks are equally suitable for coarse and fine work. When it comes to very precise detail work, miniature work or pin turning, we recommend the Prima M chuck.
Quick-action drill chuck
The quick-action drill chuck is extremely popular as drill bits can be easily clamped without an additional bowl. The chuck clamps tools from 1 to 13 mm. It is simply tightened and loosened by hand.
Using a drill chuck on the woodturning machine
You can use drill chucks either on the spindle as a chuck or in the tailstock as a drill chuck. Each chuck in our shop can be purchased directly with the corresponding adapter as a set. If you use a drill chuck as a chuck in the headstock, it must be attached to this with an M33 adapter. If, on the other hand, you want to use the drill chuck in the tailstock for drilling, it is better to select an MK2 cone. You can easily buy both variants online at Drechselbedarf Schulte!
